EMS Activities
DMW has been promoting corporate-wide environmental management.
Specifically, the Mishima Plant, where corporate functions are based, first obtained ISO 14001 certification followed by the head office, branch offices and some sales offices.
Individual frontline staff are dedicated to environmental improvement activities under the EMS or Environmental Management System, where the EMS supervisor is appointed as the chief of environmental management, and the EMS manager as the person responsible for implementing the policies and plans.
Community Cleanup Campaign
In addition to participating in the annual cleanup of the Daiba River and Sakura River, we also actively participate in environmental beautification campaigns at parks and other locations along the Seseragi Route in Mishima City as part of a June cleanup campaign.
In addition, the Mishima Plant regularly conducts a special patrol every month to pick up litter on the walkways and roads in an effort to maintain a clean and beautiful environment near our plant.

SDGs
The Sustainable Development Goals (referred to as SDGs) are the international targets to be achieved by 2030, based on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015.
In addition to contributing to sustainable development, we will work to solve the problems of local communities and to reduce the burden on the environment in order to achieve the SDGs adopted at the UN Summit with 2030 as the target year.
